We specialize in helping promote special events including legislative trips, policy symposiums, seminars and other types of events. This commonly includes recruiting members of the legislature, Department heads, legislative staff, advocates, and the general public to attend the event. We also can also help obtain event co-sponsors/endorsements and with event planning such as booking speakers, catering and space reservations.
Last year we helped promote a series of screenings of the landmark documentary series “Unnatural Causes: Is Inequality Making Us Sick?” for the Government Action and Communications Institute and California Endowment. Kersten Communications helped recruit California Legislators, Administration officials, Capitol staff, health advocates and others to the screenings.
